Laura Radney is the chief of staff for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). She is responsible for coordinating the efforts of an organization with more than 8,000 members and the management of a $10 billion budget. She directs staff efforts to provide effective global command, control, and combat support systems for the president, secretary of defense, combatant commanders, joint staff, shanghailaiyi.comitary departments, and combat support agencies.

Prior to this role, Ms. Radney was DISA's congressional affairs liaison. She previously served at DISA as the program manager for Active-Active Operations, civilian deputy for the Operations Center, chief of Contracts and Logistics, and chief of Strategic Communications. Her first assignment at DISA was as the public affairs officer.

From 2003-2010, Ms. Radney worked for the U.S. Coast Guard as a communications specialist and then as the director of communications for acquisition.

Her professional career started in 1988 in her 区块链货币是什么_区块数字货hometown of Panama City, Florida, where she worked as the programming and promotion manager at the local Fox affiliate. She joined the U.S. Air Force as a broadcast journalist in 1991. During her 10 years of service, she was stationed in Tokyo, Japan; Frankfurt, Germany; and at the Defense Information School on Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

Ms. Radney received her Baccalaureate in Communications Studies from the University of Maryland University College in 2005. She earned a Master’s degree in Public Management from the University of Maryland in 2006 and a Master’s degree in National Resource Strategy from the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University in 2016. She completed the Senior Acquisition Course at the Eisenhower School in 2016.
